Meet Rita

I am a world traveler and lifelong learner who moved to Cleveland after getting married in 2021.  Having lived in mega-metropolises and island paradises, I can honestly say I enjoy the changes of season, the pace of life, and the midwestern values.  Cleveland has an energy and vibe all its own and I’ve found it truly be a “big little city”.  It’s small enough to walk where you need to be, but large enough to host global connections and command an economic respect.  I’ve found numerous surprise connections in Cleveland to my native home, The Republic of the Philippines. 
 
I have a doctorate degree in public administration and served in the highest levels of the Philippines National Government, along with a masters in economics.  I’m an educator, an entrepreneur, and an incredible wife to my loving husband.  I’ve engaged with Cleveland’s incredible universities and work downtown, right on public square.  I’m still, from time to time, playing the tourist…seeing and experiencing all Cleveland has to offer, and I look very much forward to sharing that lens as an ambassador.
