ABOUT SAM

Hi there! I’m Sam “SP” Prewitt, a proud son of Warrensville Heights and a passionate connector in Cleveland’s vibrant community. By day, I lead national digital sales as Director of National Digital Partnerships with Urban One, America’s largest Black-owned multimedia company. On weekends, you can catch me as “King Cool,” hosting the Sunday Soundtrack on Cleveland’s historic 93.1 WZAK, sharing the best mix of R&B with the city.

When I’m not on the air, you’ll find me cycling through Cleveland neighborhoods, volunteering with Slow Roll bike rides, and serving on the board of Bike Cleveland to promote safe and equitable biking throughout the region. I love exploring the city and the world with my wife, Alexis—we’ve embraced life as two kids figuring it all out and savoring every adventure.

At 29, I survived a massive heart attack that inspired me to start the #HeartStrong mission in 2015, encouraging people to “Protect Your Heart and Everything In It.” Whether behind the mic or in the community, I find joy in connecting with people and celebrating the unique vibe of The Land. Let’s connect and explore all that Cleveland has to offer!
